Drafting, submitting, and reviewing weekly lesson plans for approval.

← All guides

The Lesson Plans module gives teachers a structured place to prepare and store weekly lesson plans, and gives Heads of Department a simple approval workflow.

Creating a Plan

  1. Go to Lesson Plans → New Plan.
  2. Choose the class, subject, and week/date range it covers.
  3. Fill in the standard sections: objectives, reference materials, core activities, and evaluation/homework.
  4. Save as a draft, or submit it directly for review.

Review & Approval

Heads of Department (or Admins) see submitted plans awaiting review under Lesson Plans. Open a plan to approve it or leave feedback asking for changes — the teacher is notified either way and can revise and resubmit.

Reusing Plans

Open any past plan and use Duplicate to start next week's plan from it instead of typing everything from scratch — handy for subjects taught the same way every week.

Quick Steps

  1. Lesson Plans → New Plan to draft a plan for a class, subject, and week.
  2. Fill in objectives, teaching/learning materials, activities, and evaluation.
  3. Submit for review — a Head of Department or Head Teacher can approve or request changes.
